Forums - Sales - PS3 to Close GAP With 360 (Yearly sales) within 4 Weeks!

I shall as ever remain optimistic but cautious. :)

This site needs an Xbox 360 is d0med thread. Really. It does.

4 years on the market and a user base of over 30 million is something some feel the need to suddenly overlook apparently.

And there will be no Dreamcast story this generation. Sega folded tents after about two years in most markets with 10.6m in sales after being clipped by the debut of the widely anticipated PS2. That was following three unsuccessful platforms preceding it in the Sega CD, 32X and Saturn. Added to that, Sega was a much smaller company than any of the current hardware manufacturing companies.

Is this the marking of 360's Decline...we're 2 see.

thats cool

now lets see wat it can do with this and how much it can eat into the 8.2mill WW gap my guess is that it will do more damage than the 360 did last year wen it had the advantage

Why do people keep saying "is this the mark of the 360's decline" HOW?

The consoles sales have risin as well, both the PS3 and 360 have seen sales increases.

Knee jerk reactions.

They go right along with 8 digit predictions for PS3 sales on the strength of one strong week of sales with the debut of the PS3 slim.

Plus I seem to recall reading that the Xbox saw a jump of 40% in sales this week thanks to the $299 Elite price drop. MS isn't leaving the console market early this generation.

i predict many of the PS3 haters will hide behind the bike-shed now. instead of enjoyin great gaming, they just seem to want the PS3 to fail. i feel sorry for them LMAO

The PS3 is fail.

(I had to contradict you, since im saying it in the open and not like behind the bike sheds).

Btw, Seece is behind the bikeshed smoking a fag, you wanna join him?

Tease.

Never have so many wanted so desperately to see a console fail. It's ridiculous. One would think they had their house or first born riding on a bet.

I suspect many of these were bitter hardcore Sega fans who still blame SCE for Sega's retreat from the hardware platform business.

QFFT. It's really sad....

Please explain how you agree with that when there have already been multiple people in this thread saying the 360 is going the way of the dreamcast and "hoping" to see the 360 fail this winter. No sensible member on this site wanted or said the PS3 was going to fail. All the Sony fans made out the people talking about Sony's financials, which I must say was more than warranted considering you know we are on a frikkin sales website and how badly SCE has been doing in the down economy, into some sort of extreme anti sony character.

And please don't give me the propaganda bullshit that says the media, metacritic and every establishment in the world is out to get Sony. I come to this website to discuss sales not to talk about fanboys hurt feelings. That goes for every side of the argument.
