SONY said this would be PS3's best holiday, which it will be now after seeing initial sales.

But is that ridiculous 13 million projection possible?

I think Ps3 will get to 12 million.......or they could STUFF the channel

I'm still not sure, 13 million is quite a lot.

I think they should raise that to 15 million

indeed, unprecedented for a 3rd place consoles (that would be half of Xbox/GC's lifetime sales in a year alone)

But SONY must've known SOMETHING to make that RIDICULOUS predictions!

Absolutely possible espec if word of mouth reaches the casual market with more interest in music games and bluray than hardcore games - will depend on the marketing sony does during the upcoming month (like 4 example the wii which was shown at academy awards)

achieving 10 million would be an enormous surprise already.

The $300/GT5/FF13 combo all the fanboys have been dreaming about is now a reality, so yes. 13 mil should be easy.

That what i always believed.. atleast they r going to be +/- 5% of this number. but everybody was calling them to lower the sales projection after their first quarter result.. that was a bit childish n too soon. 

13 million? What? Impossible! Youre the crazy suggesting it!
