Where did you get the 60k for the UK from?

The early reports say that the PS3 had a 1000% increase in the UK. Last weeks sales were just above 5,000. 5,000 * 11 = 55-60K.

in my shop, we sold about 70 ps3 the first week!! it's very good!! but we will see in the futur if those results will be continue...

lol people have been waiting for this price cut since like last year thats why. also sony did a really good job with the new hardware making it alot lik the old playstation days. this really is gonna put playstation back on top.

You should never combine these sort of percentages from charttrack with the data from Vgchartz. If there is only a 1k difference between the 2 last week that will already result in a difference of over 10k this week.

I'm not sure why people are so surprised. The same thing happened when the XBox 360 price dropped as well. The same thing will happen when the Wii's price drops.
