Is it even possible to throw/jump like that in the original? or did he change a lot of the gameplay rules?
Eitherway , awesome.

I think all of it was possible except the wall jumps. Not sure.
Still immensely impressive, though.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I believe they are using gliches to finish the levels. Here's a quote from the video description:
"This ROMhack level was mostly made to show Super Mario World pushed to its absolute limits requiring just basically every single glitch in the game and BEYOND"
I don't mean to ruin the fun, but I found this from the YouTube description of the video:
Switch Code: SW-7377-9189-3397 -- Nintendo Network ID: theRepublic -- Steam ID: theRepublic
Now Playing
Switch - Super Mario Maker 2 (2019)
3DS - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (Trilogy) (2005/2014)
Mobile - Yugioh Duel Links (2017)
Mobile - Super Mario Run (2017)
PC - Borderlands 2 (2012)
PC - Deep Rock Galactic (2020)

TASes are recordings of games "formed by constructing an input file slowly over time using an emulator as a tool to overcome human limitations such as skill and reflex, then playing the file back to give the impression that the game is played extraordinarily." Tools such as savestates, frame-advance (not used in this TAS), and slowdown are used extensively to produce superhuman play. |
Honestly, I doubt anyone thought this was real.
Tool-Assisted Speedruns are still completely awesome.

actually all of those changes in the game are not changes (or so he claims). they are supposse to be glitch exploits. if you read the comments he explains the wall jump.
Still not hardcore enough it's not in HD!
That was some amazing shit right thar, I'm only good with the cape exploit but damn I couldn't spend the time to master all of that.
Nintendo should release a Wii Ware Super Mario World with stage creator and mods you can do, you'd have some amazing stuff come of it like this.
MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"
Wii Friend Code - 5882 9717 7391 0918 (PM me if you add me), PSN - MaxwellGT2000, XBL - BlkKniteCecil, MaxwellGT2000
And people say Mario isn't hardcore... BAH!!! I want to watch Master Chef or Kratos going trough this level...
1 2 3 not only you and me.
Livin' in sin is the new thing.

that was amazing
how exactly is the person playing the level...on a pc? controller? i never seen something like this before
