Really? I thought the end was amazingly well done. Yeah, the game does have some horrible sequences (screaming scene with Yuna and Tidus, anyone?), but I found the ending after the final boss to be brillant

I agree as well. One of the better endings to a FF.

Yeah, that tidus and Yuna scene was ridic. But fuck the end boss. I hated it!

What's the problem with the final boss? I remember it forcing me to some grinding because I took Tidus to another path and forgot to learn Hastega

He sucks. Boring fight. I had all the best weapons and all the summons. I was also going for the grid completion but thought better of it so I had a decent amount of those.

See FFX was the first FF game where I was not satisfied with the ending, it's what drove me to buying FFX-2 cause I thought since they were making a game that comes directly after the other that the story would flesh out a bit more and fix that awful ending but alas I was let down again and much worse let down in fact.

It's all a matter of opinion really but I'd say FFX is probably the worst of the series only leaving out FF3, 5, and 9 because I've yet to finish those, probably the weakest story, coupled with bad VO, and comes in second to FF8 on absurd twists.  Though I have to admit I loved the ending boss to FFX if nothing else just for the badass music that plays, probably my favorite FF song since.... well everything from FF4 :P

I cannot remember when a game embarrassed me this much the last time.

I started to like it when I left Besaid...The boat trip (with aswell awesome CGI)....And I really loved the game after 40 hours when you are free to go.
