It's probably going to be GT5 though, if it deserves that or not I can't say (yet) but many reviewers probably grew up with GT1 and will look past any possible flaws to give it that 10/10 rating they feel it deserves. |
Well GT4 released the same year as Forza 1. It was the first time GT had competition on consoles at what it does. Forza 1 actually had a meta of 92. While GT4 got meta of 89. Many reviewers said GT4 was the best GT yet, but it was rated down because there was competition adding things like online play and extensive modding.
And although GT5 has more cars than Forza 3. Forza 3 has 20+ more tracks than GT5 and in terms of features has stuff that GT5 doesn't. Like HD video editor. Fully customisable paintwork and aerofoils. We stil yet need to know whether GT5 will feature full tyre deformation as well as pitstops and fuel weights. And we are yet to see any Forza 3 gameplay with full realistic damage and fuel and tyre wear all on max realistic settings.
So all in all this is still to early to tell. But as for features so far Forza 3 has a reasonable edge. Apart from how many cars. So we will see.
