I want the ABSOLUTE BEST QUALITY a given game can offer, i dont want some watered down piece of trash that i KNOW could have looked and felt so much better if it not for the insufficiencies of a lesser console of Developer.

This is why i can so damn pissed off when games look better/worse on one console to another...If you cant make it to its best quality on Two consoles make it to its ABSOLUTE best quality on one Console and NOT make it on the other altogether, your just going to piss 3 million people off.

It sounds to me like you're based your deductions under the operating rule that multiplats are always inferior simply because they aren't exclusive to the PS3.

You don't actually know any of this.

It's just a number of assumptions based on your bias. Far more games look worse on the PS3.

Games are games, and you don't know if the game would have been better if it were on the PS3 exclusives, or worse. You are just guessing, in order to take potshots at FFXIII and tout the PS3's supposed superiority.

Unfortunately, a number of multiplatform games look worse on the PS3, and while you might see fit to blame the developers, I'm sure the developers themselves don't see it that way. More often than not, they know about the things they discuss, despite being "lazy."

It's just an elitist argument, that is being blown way out of porportion, because certain people feel the need to flame Square, and punish them for the multiplat decision.

The game will make more money because it's on the Xbox 360. More people will get to play it. It will be better.

that depends on how square structure the game.

but assure you 360 version will have you re insert disc # ? to go back to some towns.

there is a a way to prevent that making the structure or the game different so u don't have to.

but that means downgrading ps3  open areas, so both consoles get the same.

not confirmed but highly likely, now that both consoles are the same =(.

It's bullshit Xoj, because you have to assume one of two things.

A. That the game was multiplat from the start, and its design was originally inteneded for multiple discs.

or

B. Despite the game almost being completely on the PS3 at the time of the 360's announcement, its flow and structure, as well as story and pacing was actually monumentally shifted to accomidate for the lack of revisiting certain areas.

 

FFVII was on 3 discs. How's that?

Yes, I agree, FFVII was totally ruined by the requirement of multiple discs. It would have been so much better as a PS3 exclusive.

i am just repeating what nomura, said in a inteview, talk to him.

but it quite clear exclusive benefit the extra budget and time.

and his reason, its not multiplatform to focus on one console only.

Bullshots and CGI. You never see the real game until later in the cycle. The fact that the author of this article is pretending not to know that is insulting to our intelligence.
