It's not a spin off. It's based on the anime series.

is anybody impressed with that?didnt the ps3 sold 60 or 70.000 the week where the FF VII Movie + XIII demo was coming out?and the the slim is much bigger than a FF movie and demo.
this is gonna be the first 100.000 + week in japan for the PS...the second coming this Winter (FF XIII release)
