I do agree with you here.

It was boneheaded as hell of Activision to release screenshots that clearly showed early development (look at the texture differnce in the tan soldier and the environment around him). However, we've been over this exact issue several times since they were released and that quote in the OP was also discussed back then.

It's like everyone just forgot or something.

IMO Metroid Prime 3 is best looking game on the Wii. I seriously doubt that Call of Duty will look better than Prime. Galaxy is only game that is a contender with Prime, both games look fantastic. I'm curious to see how well Monster Hunter looks on screen though.

Producers these won't bad mouth themselves and often and rightly so feel proud of anykind of accomplishment. From our perspective the graphics maybe Ninja Bread Man, but from a techincal design of what they couldn't figure out before they see something magical.

So yeah I think he is telling the truth, but a truth that only to himself.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
