Anyone else getting LittleBigPlanet "week 0" deja vu?

I don't believe this will be the long term outcome though. 2:1 install base advantage means 360 version must triumph (i.e. have longer legs). Yes I realise preliminary numbers favour 360, just, but the difference according to ioi is within the margin of error.

PS3 haters didn't set the high bar, PS3 fanboys set the high bar.

You should of read the slim predcitiosn thread to see what I mean, 85% is small when many people expected 300% increases worldwide.

 

Even if PS3 outsells the Wii next week, it wouldn't be that impressive. It's a $100 price drop AND a new model, if PS3 did not outsell Wii with that hefty boost, nothing will, and Sony would probably be very depressed. It would be more impressive if PS3 managed to outsell Wii with a major software release, and go on to outsell it for an additional week before dropping below.

I seriously dont get how people are saying this is bad for PS3, when it hadn't even fully launched yet.

Considering there was limited stock, select retailers had that limited stock, its PS3's worst territory and the 360 had a cut too... its more than okay.

People need to wait for the FULL launch before saying it was a flop.

So these days "proudly supporting" is an euphemism for "I'll contribute to the greed of a huge transnational corporation that doesn't give a shit about me nor about anything else beyond its own bottom line". "Proudly supporting" is something to be said about Doctors without Borders, the Red Cross and other NGO's. But corporations? 

Not to mention motherfucking IOI, the guy that puts real effort on this site needs ads in order to generate revenue and to keep vgchartz alive. Free advertisement on people's sigs is sending a message to Sony: don't spend dollars on vgchartz, the zealots will do it for free!
