It STILL hasn't crossed 2 million, WHAT!

I must say I am very disappointed in its sales now, a game which took 4 years of dev time, was hyped by SONY so much & has the best graphics on a console ever selling like that is disappointing. ITs the best FPS on PS3, yet is below res 1, COD4's

ITs just made me feel, 4 years for just those sales (1.8 million is A LOT, but my eyes look at COD4 & COD:WAW sales), I mean COD4 outsells it on a weekly basis!

I just realized what its sales were (was it adjusted down guys?)

I really can't pin-point any particular reason!

Are you happy with killzone 2 sales?

Its not good but not bad either. I think it will have a good boost when the Platinum version releases and moving on to holidays new ps3 owners should buy the game.

for a game hyped so much these sales are disapointing..i bet that sony is not happy with these sales..

I really wanted MGS4 level sales from it, I mean looking at the trailers & gameplay, there was no reason for it not to do GEOW level sales too, KZ2 had it all

Personally, I'm happy enough with the sales, so long as its LTD is 2.25mil or greater.

when CoD4 was released ? Xmas
when R1 was released ? Xmas
when GoW1/2 were released ? Xmas

I m sure KZ2 would have performed A LOT better if it would have been released at a better period ...

Yeah overhyping is dangerous, still, they prob made a decent profit.

But I hope SONY advertises the new edition of Killzone 2 coming out this holiday, unfortunately people will be going mad for modern warfare 2 then.

The issue is far bigger than your little $vg thread. First party Sony games do not sell as much as the other two consoles. Unless it's GT, or heavily bundled, PS3 fans prefer games that are in 360. Thus, i realize it's all comes from NA, American do not support the PS3, It's 360 Country and it shows.
