Oh no. Game would be much better if Disney stays out.

The more useless IPs thrown in, the worse it'll be.

Disney is the whole reason that this series is tolerable in the first place.

its true, all the ff characters are pretty useless and fanservice if you ask me.

as muchas i like FF i prefer the disney characters in the game over them.

also if they were to make a KH3, id assume it will be on ps3 and maybe xbox

i see it like this...

it started on ps2, had a prequel on the GBA, KH2 on ps2, a side story on psp and ds so i'd say its save to assume KH3 will be on ps3 and maybe xbox because of its multiplat abilites.

i want it on the ps3 or xbox, and hope they dont waste their time with the wii. IF they do, Nintendo is pretty lucky.

I don't know where you're getting your facts from, but Chain of Memories on Game Boy Advance is a sequel to KH.  It picks up literally the moment the original game leaves off, so...

I'm going to leave the 'waste their time with the wii' comment alone and pretend it doesn't scream bias.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Someone please explain this to me: What is so "Disney" about this game other than Mickey Mouse being in it? If you look at gameplay mechanics, storyline, etc. you'll find that there is nothing "Disney" about it, other than characters.

Like I've said COUNTLESS times, just because Mickey Mouse is in the game doesn't mean that this is automatically going to fit the Wii demographic.

For all intensive purposes, this game is a Final Fantasy game with a different skin. Or if there was an FPS made by Bungie that was JUST LIKE Halo, but with Disney characters, the game should therefore be on the Wii???

I didn't realize Disney had specific gameplay or storylines. Is Disney a game or something? The storyline is neither like FF and nor is the gameplay. So what's your point? What, because they do crazy moves and such in battle it automatically doesn't fit the Wii's demographic? What? There isn't even any cursing, any blood, and the dialogue isn't mature compared to FF.

I mean, look at this:

It's embarrasing they even add something like this. But I know so many kids love this type of stuff...

This game isn't FF reskinned. The only thing it shares with FF are cameos which don't appear nearly as often as the Disney characters (and no, not just Mickey or Donald or Goofy), and spell names. That's it.

Wow....massive cherrypicking with that video. I can do it too:

Lot of actions sequences in there, right? Not unlike that of say...Brave Fencer Musashi or Final Fantasy XII. And quit denying the fact that it is a classic Japanese role playing game. Maybe not turn based, but a JRPG none the less, done in the style that Square does best. This game isn't developed by Disney, you know.

It's fairly unlike FFXII, at least.

What does that have to do with the Wii, anyway?

i know kh chain of memories is a sequel to 1 i meant to say its a prequel to 2. (also the fact that i made an error about the time line of the game doesnt put down my arguement...so pointless comment)

i am bias against the wii, unlike most i will admit it. I have a wii, sits in the corner not being used (waiting for the new zelda though :)), therefore i'm dissapointed with Nintendo. Had so much potential but now its just gimicky.

On topic....  KH3 should be on ps3 or xbox. I want KH, like KH1 and KH2 (not to sure about the ds and psp games as they are not out yet) I dont want a wii version with gimicky motion controls. so imo i think thats in the best interest of the game, because i'm playing the 2nd KH and chain of memories for the ps2...and they are animated soooooo poooorly and i would love to see them acually animated well or decent on a more powerfull platform. I'm not a graphics whore i'm an animation whore (but i'll save you guys the arguement between graphics and animation lol) and the wii just wont cut it, from what i've seen from the wii, ps2 and xbox animations are poor (for todays standards...even though they still were poor as its rare to find a vg with great animations but they're getting there!! look at uncharted, rachet and clank, jak, devil may cry, street fighter 3 and 4, fable 2, the last guardian, even though it had many bugs force unleashed, guilty gear's alright, malo!! the natal kid lol and more.)

Cause if it didn't come out on the PS3 it would be crap so he has to trash the Wii to make his point.

@BMaker

Your "cherrypicking" video for the first few minutes I was able to bear and watch someone else play a game looked more like a bad platformer then JRPG.

But coming from a huge JRPG fan like myself KH really isn't a JRPG, you've got the FF names for weapons and spells, but it could have just as easily had names and spells from oblivion and it still wouldn't make it WRPG.  KH is more action game with RPG elements.  The story itself is really influenced by it's Disney side, hell most of the story is taken from the Disney movies just with Sora thrown in there and an overall story to tie all the worlds together but the overall story is pretty stereotypical, boy turns into hero, hero fights off the evil, the evil side has a leader, boy hero goes to face the leader, end KH1 rinse repeat KH2.

Action is too hardcorezz for the Wii.

Wait, when did I deny it's a JRPG? You should know that I'm one of the people that still say profoundly it's a JRPG and not an action game like some people think. I'm saying it's not FF.

1st bolded: I dare say that that's true to some extent. Why is it that every traditional third party game on the Wii does poor numbers, only to get the "niche" card thrown at it?

2nd bolded: Well, it's not a "Disney" game either. The stuff that has any relevance towards ANYONE'S belief that "oh, well Disney loves the Wii, so KH3 should be on the Wii"....is that Hannah Montana and High School Musical BS. Two different audiences, man. Otherwise Pure would've been on the Wii because you know....Disney loves the Wii /end sarcasm

You mean traditional third party games like Resident Evil, Call of Duty, Tiger Woods, and Monster Hunter? Wait wait, let me guess...they don't count!

I don't see the point of arguing sales anyway. When KH3 goes Wii it will sell gangbusters.

Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

Never played a KH game before, tho Im not interested in the main Disney chars - mickey, goofy, etc... would be fun to see some of the old disney afternoon chars in there - Kit, Baloo, Gruffi Gummi, Darkwing Duck.. etc
