Inflammatory. you want a reaction so now I respond and you try and twist it. I do believe you spread fud and get your digs in about the 360 but that doesn't mean every single time.

Am I not to respond? You misread my comment about no-one calling you biased for that comment or just didn't understand it and tried to use it against me.
Now you bring up an old comment but conveniently ignore the most recent comment made as it doesn't suit you.

Do competitors offer forza online for free?
XBL is different to PSN therefore they are charging you to use their system. It's not like I can get XBL anywhere else. In live you pay to play games that you can't play for free anywhere else.

You accept there are alternatives to Wow that you could play but don't want to as Wow is what you want. I'm using that as an example for XBL. People chose to pay and don't want the alternative why is that wrong?

People are saying it's a rip off with out using it yet are willing to pay for things that are rip offs on their console. Bit of a double standard. Also those who don't own a 360 feel qualified to comment are acting like their opinion is fact and are righteous over those who do pay and use the system and have no problem with it. I thought it was supposed to be only the Sony forums that got hijacked here? That's what I've been told.

OK I'm here to put a stop to your utter bullshit you have been spewing this whole thread abou Multiplayer on other platforms.

 

WoW Has thousands of player simultaneously playing in a single server. You heard me, thousands, if not more. Also my WoW folder has grown from 4gigs back in 2004 to 16+ gigs right now. That means the sheer amount of content has quadrupled on top of any small balances,fixed, etc. they have done.

The whole thing is called an MMORPG, something consoels have basically never even heard of. Don't use something that doesn't even exist on a console to bring down another platform. ALL types of games that the Xbox has and are played online are free on the PC. FPSes, RTSes (ok mayeb these arent on consoles either), RPGs, Racing, etc. is FREE on the PC. In fact people have NEVER had to pay to play online for PC games until MMOs came out, and they stil don't.

Also I'm willing to bet my left nut that my experience on a PC online is infinitely superior to any service Live has to offer.

Lord, The fact is you claim I spout FUD about the 360... then you change to say my post is reasonable... when that post and most of my other posts are similiar. So stick with one or the other. Am I reasonable or do I just spread FUD? Please tell me... 'cause I'm not sure how to respond... should I be on my gaurd and defensive with my posts or should I be able to post my thoughts without a worry?

I'm not comparing the games but the business practice.
If charging to play online is bad then why is it ok to keep charging monthly to play online with no offline?

You can try and justify it but the fact is you're still being charged just for online multiplayer and there are free alternatives out there.
This is basically the biggest argument AGAINST live.
Ones ok and ones not?

If its ok due to the community then the community on live is superior to PSN so that should be justification enough right?

Ah but now its "types" of games not the actual games themselves.

That article made my head hurt.

Firstly, there is cross game chat on PS3, just not voice chat.

Secondly, PS3 games rarely have any lag or server disconnections beyond the first three days. Fat Princess is the only one that came to mind.

Thirdly, he says "I have also heard that PlayStation Network...". You never say "I have heard" in a comparison article.

And finally, what the hell is this website? From what I've seen, it's some sort of blog. Not saying that Xbox Live isn't worth the money, but really, did you have to dig up this poorly written article from an unheard of blog to prove that it IS worth the money? Nobody who doesn't already think it's worth the money is going to be persuaded otherwise by reading that.

It's obviously worth it for millions of people. I'd happily pay 3x as much as I do now and I have 2 kids with their own accounts as well. I really don't see why it's such a sore spot for people that don't even use the shit. It's like these dudes are willing to fight to prove how much it's not worth it. WTF is that shit?



I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
