"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

I guess I'm missing something obvious here but isn't Modern Warfare high def since it says it runs at 1080p on the back of the box?

Rainbow Six Vegas also goes to 1080p....That ended fast...

ok everybody..leave her alone..she made a fail thread/comment so has everybody here..leave it be

When I make Fail thread's...Wait..Never mind...

No, you're doing it all wrong. Bait threads have to involve console wars. And it should be possible that somebody could really have the opinion you're faking. Do it while you can, the more posts you have, the more likely it is to fail

@ the 3 killzone 2 haters

It doesn't make me happy, I don't even have a PS3 and I don't like the game at all.

I'm just looking for the most sold HD FPS, if you guys don't know you are such a cute ones for bothering yourselves with what makes me happy and whatnot =)

It is probably the most sold FPS with red eyes in it...

The most sold HD FPS for this gen is HALO 3... now the definition varies...

IMO KZ2 is in the top with Halo and Gears of War and I don't understand why it isn't relfected in the sales figures (undertracked ?).

Now your message is dangerous. EX: Wipeout HD is a pure HD gaming... is it the most sold HD racer ???

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

I have to agree, Killzone 2 is the only AAA FPS that actually runs in HD resolution, both Halo 3 and CoD:MW run in a sub-HD resolution.

- Killzone 2, 1280x720 @ 30fps, x2 QAA

-CoD:MW, 1024x600 @ 60fps, x2 AA

-Halo 3, 1152x640 @ 30fps, no AA

Killzone 2 is a given that it does x2 QAA algong with being a HD game, it is a 1st party game after all, so it was expected.

CoD:MW does redeem it's self because it at least runs at 60fps with x2 AA to boot, and since it's a 3rd party multiplaform game, they are restricted in how much they can optimise thier engine for any given console, but they did good with that limitations/

Halo 3 disappointed in all technical respects, they are 1st party and so should have been able to really push the 360 to the max, but what resulted from a 1st party games was a game that not only ran at a sub-HD resolution but had no AA at all...it could of redeemed it's self like CoD:MW but Halo 3 only runs at 30fps.

Now with all the above said, all these games are good in the type of fun they deliver, the only draw back to some where the technical limitations they had.

^why did you leave Bioshock out?

while I would guess this is tongue in cheek... "Higher Definition" does not in fact have to be 720p.... it just has to be higher than standard definition.

600p or whatever is higher than standard definition.
