FF7 WAS a masterpiece.

When played today, on my 42" HD Plasma, it looks like ass.

Keep the game the same, just give me my HD visuals.

If they did them in HD and left them 2D i think that would be cool.

i said consoles! not handhelds
and PS1 ones DID sell well, Final Fantasy Anthology and FF Origins done good.

my point is why do FF1-6 have to be radically redone????...they would loose that essence that it carries with. a FF4 styled remake is more than enough...keep the soul of the games there something that a complete HD overhaul would lose...and Pardus im shocked to be hearing this from u...

whats so shocking? i said they did good, back in time, i don't really would like them to lose the soul, but more like how they made dissidia, see how all the characters got remade? im not talking about graphics but im saying it will make more people stop with the "FFVII is the best game EVER!!" and realise how good the older games are.

I geuss u do bring one good point up about enlightening the newer generation, but i really feel the only reason ppl want them remade is to cater to there own inability to appreciate games b4 the PS2 age

well if i'd love a game i would buy it's remake just to see whats changed and bring back nostalgia.
and also to listen to the music the way it supposed to sound

I do  agree with the remakes, because my personal favourite final fantasy is FF IX. A remake of that would be awesome to me. But people think about "oh a HD remake for this would be awesome".

People is yet to realize that fancy graphics is not fun at all. Game desing and gameplay make the games.

It's much more fun to play CoD or Halo that aren't even HD games than Crysis. Despite of the huge laughable graphical difference.

^ exactly FF1-6 are still fun and beat most modern JRPG's to this day..theres really no reason they cant be played in there current forms
