So instead of another game they release a video? That's worse than not releasing a game, I'd lose a lot of respect for Insomniac.

Whatever lets them stop wasting resources on a B-grade FPS franchise and put them into a great new IP can only be a good move.

I don't believe Resistance is a B-grade game. If Insomniac is profiting from the franchise, I think they should at least finish out the current story-line. Besides, wouldn't a new IP is more of a risk than anything else?

I think they should bring out a 3rd, but make it slightly more horror-FPS, and get some tips from other studios versed in FPS singleplayer narratives.

It's funny so many people criticize them for removing the narrator, which was at the time one of the biggest complaints of the games. I was hyped for the 2nd, never bought it, mild interest in the 3rd.

They will have to improve Resistance 3 by ALOT. I like R1 but R2 just felt as if it was lacking everything that made R3 original.
