Forums - Nintendo - which type of starfox game you want to see on the wii

On rails Arcade-style, like Lylat wars. How else am I going to brag about my godlike high scores?

I LOVE ICELAND!

Around the Network

Star Fox 64-style, though I'd be fine with Assault style too since that was pretty damn fun as well. My main wish is that it's really well-made.

Super Nintendo Starfox

2 games needed.

StarFox in the style of the original and 64 versions

IR aiming.
State of the art graphics
Tons of boss fights
Online leaderboards.

And... bear with me...

2D StarFox.

2D space shooter segments
2D on-foot shooter segments
Fox+Falco+Peppy+Slippy 4-player co-op throughout.

And either way, all arcade shoot-em-up gameplay. I want my finger on the trigger 75% of the time.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

I think it should be more like Star Fox Assault except more air missions than foot missions. The game also has to be longer like several missions on each planet.

Fans would like to kill me ^_^ but I might be interested in Elite-like expirence in Star Fox. Obviously tuned down Elite-like experience, without hundreds of copy&pasted planets, plus classic arcade-style battles. Ability to land on the planet followed by exploration on foot like in Star Fox Adventures would be highly appreciated. Though this would be kinda too complex concept and not too appealing to the mass.

we need a true sequal to Star Fox 64.. and bring that star fox theme song back lol

The new starfox will have to appeal to the masses, like Mai says. That probably means just straight forward flying. With motion plus, off course.

Starfox does need a revamp like metroid anyway. The last installments didn't do that well, for a nintendo title anyway.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

star fox WRPG by retro!

I want to see a game just a little bit like Star Fox II, the unreleased SNES game, on Virtual Console.

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.
