Nintendo's not going to hold out that long, simply because i doubt that their developers will want to be working with Wii tech for another 4 years. I've never been one to complain about the Wii's limited capabilities, but i think even Nintendo's developers are going to want new hardware sooner than that.

And Iwata will send Miyamoto into their offices to flip over their tables and smack them around with large wads of cash telling them to get back to work.

Anyways I want to see what Nintendo's next disruption will be before making any decisions

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Metal Gear Solid 5 says that i MUST religiously go towards the PlayStation 4.

Wherever Halo, Fable and Gears, if it's still around then, go, I must follow. I'll probably add Zelda to that list eventually.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

I would get all of them on launch and ebay them a day later for good profit and then get whichever one gets a Suikoden game.

IF Sony makes a PS4, OnLive doesn't take the gaming world by storm and slay Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft, AND if Sony learns anything this generation, then I'm guessing they'll price it at around $300. But those are three pretty big if's.

360 wouldn't have a blu-ray.

If i could only choose between those 6 games...

I'd go with the Wii... because I don't really care about 5 of those games.... and the 6th is on the Wii.

The Nintendo console seems a bit weak. I mean, Zelda and Smash Bros are great, but I want some new stuff as well. Same goes for the other consoles. I do prefer Nintendo's first party over the others, so if that's what this thread is about...

Anyway, 80GB HD's are far too small. PS3/360 minimum this year (2009) is already at 120GB. I'd put the minimum 3 years from now at 250GB, at least.

i'll get Metal Gear Solid then think about the rest.

Probably Ps4

If Wii had a option to not use motion controllers for their next gen I would pick it up for Zelda.
