When is someone going to throw us gamers a bone?
They need to fund RROD repairs somehow...
Seriously - MS's business model would collapse without it. Why do people pay it? Search me. I sure don't...

Well there goes all your credibility. (but to be fair your credibility disappeared about 451 posts ago) |
why? because he said his opinnion? XBL being better than PSN is an opinnion, not the fact.
Is it free though? Obviously gold members effectively subsidise the Silver only members who subsidises the PSN users? Is it the developers, Sony, gamers or all three?
Whatever the reason the cost remains invisible to most PSN users and they are happy on the other hand most Gold members do not consider the cost onerous and they too appear happy.
Like I said how can you win.

No. XBL mostly push dynamic matchmaking with a peer-to peer system.
If developers want to host games on dedicated servers, it is up to them to organize it.
But XBL doesn't stop...while publishers can decide anytime that it is not profitable and close the system.

What does Linux has to do in this discussion ?
This is all wrong -> comparing open system and owned system.

Some things can be opinions, but some things are facts...kinda like this.
PSN doesn't have all/as many of the features as XBL does...thats a fact, so how can PSN possibly be better than Live? The answer is its not. Its good, but quite up to XBL standard.
