Forums - Gaming - C.o.D. 4 better on ps3

Multiplatform games always end up being better on the 360. Does anyone out there know of any multiplatform games that have scored higher on the PS3 overall than the 360? I'm curious.

X_X And?

I prefer that the PS3 game will be launched at the same day as the X360 version and not like many games will be launched a month later.

Wait, I may just be misunderstanding your post. Are you saying CoD 4 is being released later on the PS3? or are you just talking about the current trend in 360/ps3 releases?

 I am talking about the trend.

I think if you are a PS3 owner you should not care about that the PS3 version looks better or not but if the game release on the same day like the X360 version.

@Astrodust: Oblivion. And, apparently, CoD4

It's not exactly fair to include a game that released over a year after the 360 version. I certainly hope it looks better.

Well more reviews are given to the 360 games generally. Take Dirt for example. It's regarded as looking slightly better on the PS3. Yet if you compare the Metacritic scores 83 (360) and 82 (PS3) you might think differently.

The 360 version got 55 reviews, the PS3 version only 22.

I'm not going to say that any of the sources are biased, but it's worth noting that for their are 10 sources in the 360 review section who have '360' as part of their name.

The PS3 only has 3 sources with 'PS' in the name.

It's hard to judge properly then, just by looking at scores, which of the two versions is better. Perhaps if the two games both had the same number of reviews, a more balanced score would be shown.

Oblivion scored higher on both Metacritic and Game Rankings for the 360. And Call of Duty 4 isn't out yet. So I'm not sure if any multplatform titles have done better on the PS3.

 Yeah but their is a year difference between those two games.

The game on PS3 looks better and have extra's for a consumer you are better off with
the Oblivion PS3 version.

This could work both ways. The more reviews a game gets, the greater chance that it's overall average would be less. If Bioshock just got 10 reviews it's overall average would of been like 98.

Yes but as of right now the PS3 is the only platform that doesn't have The Shivering Isles expansion. If you want the complete game your only choice would be the PC or 360 when it comes to Oblivion.
