Well more reviews are given to the 360 games generally. Take Dirt for example. It's regarded as looking slightly better on the PS3. Yet if you compare the Metacritic scores 83 (360) and 82 (PS3) you might think differently. The 360 version got 55 reviews, the PS3 version only 22. I'm not going to say that any of the sources are biased, but it's worth noting that for their are 10 sources in the 360 review section who have '360' as part of their name. The PS3 only has 3 sources with 'PS' in the name. It's hard to judge properly then, just by looking at scores, which of the two versions is better. Perhaps if the two games both had the same number of reviews, a more balanced score would be shown.

This could work both ways. The more reviews a game gets, the greater chance that it's overall average would be less. If Bioshock just got 10 reviews it's overall average would of been like 98.
