I agree to a degree...but what about Sony's inhouse teams and 1st party developers.  3rd party developers WILL stop the exclusive games for the 360 and PS3 until there is a much bigger userbase.  But what would you consider to be a good userbase....15-20m.  Going by my reckoning, both the PS3 and 360 will be there by the end of 2008.  Thats why 2009 will be a bigger year for the PS3 anyway.

however i have no idea how that relates to what Davygee had in the first post so it still makes no sense.

@space20man....considering the Wii is though by many to have a minimum of 16million sales by the end of 2007 (and most people are expecting 18million) and you have it selling a mere 9 million for a period of 2 years after that.
Your top value for 360 is probably the closest to what i would guess 360 will be at by the end of 2009 (probably about 28million.)
I am not making any solid predictions for the end of 09 until after this christmas, but if i were to make a guess the PS3 by the end of 09 could be 30 million (still 5M below your number).
