What do you think will be its price?
I am guessing 50euro/50USD.
PSeye has 30euro (standalone)

Its funny, they looked the most unprepared between themselves and Microsoft at E3, and yet they are releasing first.
Tease.
it can't be more than 50 bucks. the wii mote with the nunchuck is 60 buxks so if expects to sell this thing they need to go alittle lower.
The main thing i worry about is with a release date like that, they need to show a game that will be available with that. They goe TGS and GDC to do that.

Well the guy was nervous as hell. That's why I think it seemed unprepared. They've been working on it for a long time. Hopefully it'll be a success but then again, who knows. Sony have been very hit or miss over the last few years. |
The whole thing looked like it had been pulled out of the R+D lab and shipped onto the plane at the last minute. There physical models looked like something which they were using to test the device and nothing more. Microsoft actually had a few game implementations to show off.
Tease.
I thinks its a little too late.
Sure motion-control was all fun and innovative when Nintendo first released it, however it does tend to get tiresome.
Unless of course, its a FPS. I have to admit, FPS with point and shoot (as in the Wiimote) is bloody brilliant! That, my friends is a winner!
There is no Knowledge that is not Power
My other thing is when in the spring are they releasing this. March is God of War 3 and April is FXIII....mind u god forbid any of the other delayed game get released around that time..... who's gonna pay attention to this?

Because the future of gaming is full body immersion virtual reality.
It is so funny that people are still thinking this is just a out of the blue move by Sony. Sony had this tech working all the way back in 2004 with the original Eye Toy. Their internal studios have had this tech available for years, but non of them thought it was worth the effort. Thankfully for us gamers Nintendo ventured into that space and proved it is viable. Now Sony has finally decided the time is right, and they will not be dicking around. There is money to be made in this sector, and Sony is going to make sure they compete for that reason allown.
IMO, motion is yay and nay. So far the Wii has shown me very little to get exited over, but that does not mean that motion could not be a great way to game. Like Michael Jackson said in Man in the Mirror, "You Can't Close Your Mind".
One last thing. Sony has been rolling out the Playstation Experiance markeeting blitz. This is a full out PS3 PSPgrass roots marketing effort. They have it at the Best Buy in my area. It is a little section were you can get hands on with a fully functional PS3 or PSP, and Sony has an on site sales agent that can show customers all the bells and whistles. PSE is coming to all BB locations buy this holiday, and will still be in effect when this device hits. If Sony has a game that can show consumers a level of motion experiance that out classes the Wii, they may just be able to swing the pigilum.

lol Eyetoy?
Sony needs to make some games for the PS Eye or else they will keep calling it Eyetoy.
Axumblade that looks and sounds like a cheesy kids afternoon show.
