Yes, 2D mario has always been bundled with Nintendo consoles. Combine it with Wii sports and you will have an awesome value right out of the box when buying a Wii.

If the reduced ps3 and 360 start to become serious threats to the Wii, I think it would be a great idea to bundle the Wii with NSMB. It would be like the NES and SNES original bundles all over again!! It would be nice to see Mario's face on the front of a Nintendo Systems box again!!

I just think that Nintendo can't go wrong with this.

WSR would be a better choice, as it is related to the motion contoller, and the Wii's New Values.

While NSMB will be very successful, it is just a nostalgia game, and not the "cutting edge" of Nintendo's paradigm shift.


I think they didn't want to bundle WSR because they were afraid that it has a chance to be a "flop" like Wii Music, and in this case they would waste resources on a game that consumers do not want, but the opposite was proven, so a bundle might come soon.

i think they should keep wii sports and pack in super mario galaxy to build an even greater fan base for NSMB Wii and Galaxy 2

There should be two bundles. One with Wii Sports + NSMB Wii and another with Wii Sports + Wii Sports Resorts (though that would be an odd bundle wouldn't it . . . oh well)

I don't think it will be bundled, but I DO think that Nintendo will cut the price of the Wii down to $199 by the time NSMB is released, so that would be even better because new Wii owners would still be paying the same if it was bundled it, and Nintendo would make more money off the software sales.

IMO, alternative bundles between NSMB Wii and Wii Fit Plus would be an excellent move. It would increase the hardware sales greatly. Also, this part isn't really that important but, they could possibly add a Black Wii with Mario's bundle? This is all just my view on this though.
