Interesting. Distaste for certain companies and their buisness practices have stopped me from buying a game in the past. A card carrying biggot's involvment in a game could definately sway my descision to purchase. Not a slam-dunk ''no'' , but it would give me pause for sure. In the end though, I would probably buy Shadow Complex as he is not the main creative force. Not his baby so to speak. Plus it looks really good!

Political correctness is the ultimate hipocrasy. It is simply the belief that everyone should share the same belief on certain subjects, regardless of their faith or upbringing.

The irony, is that the belief we all should supposedly share is that we should respect other peoples beliefs, no matter how different they are from our own.

See the catch 22 there?

We respect people for being PC, and flame them for believing differently than our predetermined PC rhetoric. Ironically, in doing so, we are not being PC ourselves, because we are supposed to respect other peoples beliefs above all else.

Anyway, obviously, this game is popular, so Card's opponents will use it as a striking point against him. I've never heard of Care before now. That said, PC hipocrasy and secular-progressivism in general piss me off, so I'm much more likely to buy two copies of this now, just to make one of their votes not count.
