Forums - Nintendo - Namco: Wii can't handle Tekken 6, PSP can.

Namco sort of set themselves up for this back lash when they announced the PSP version of Tekken 6. Up until that point, no one expected a version of Tekken 6 on the Wii. However, in earlier interviews Namco did state that they'd make a Wii version if there is enough to demand. Whether that's true or not remains to be seen.

so they think Dpad and the whole wii mote design isn't for tekken.
after playing tekken he is probably right

So what? It's not the only control option.

if you played tekken, you know buttom mashing agaisnt someone trained won't work, thats tekken main different with other fighting games.

wii doens't have should buttons but one Z button, and A B and dpad.

like a NES control but longer with a Z buttom.

and no you can't use the nunchuck for the same reason for fighting in joystick.

solution: bundle an arcade stick games which is not likely.

I meant something like a joystick. Or the Classic Controller.

not every wii have a classic controller, joystick for tekken won't work.

Then they allow bundles. They don't in the US, but it looks like that might change with Monster Hunter Tri.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Casper, I know you are an alt account to txrattlesnake and BTFeather55, and who knows how many others, so just get a life. I still don't know how you haven't been IP banned yet... Mods don't you realize it's him yet once again?

This. The guy is always so obvious.

Did Xoj just say a joystick for Tekken won't work or did I misread his post?

yes u did, i said the DPAD was better. :P

They should make a soul calibur game, with Motion+. And unless they magically forgot how good II & III looked, they can make this look good as well.

It seems that Namco disagrees.

That's not an actual analogue stick though, it is more clicky

read the post you were reffering to, my fix was send a arcade stick to wii owners =).

i said dpad was better than  joystick, but they could send arcade stick.
