Because:

1: It's a first person shooter. There are already enough of those.

2: It's made by Activision, and if it will succed, they will milk the franchise even harder.

3: Battlefield-style FPS > CoD-style FPS. I want the more war-like FPS games to take over the genre, this means CoD selling bad, and Battlefield and MAG selling well.

4: Bob Kotick deserves it.

AMERICAS

New Super Mario Bro: 7.08 million

CoD 4 360 : 5.37 million

CoD 4 PS3: 2.24 million

Total CoD 4: 7.61 million

OTHERS

New Super Mario Bros: 6.45 million

CoD 4 360 : 2.21 million

CoD 4 PS3: 2.07 million

Total CoD 4: 4.28 million

JAPAN

New Super Mario Bros: 5.69 million

CoD 4 360 .09 million

CoD 4 PS3: .13 million

total CoD 4: .22 million

TOTAL

New Super Mario Bros: 19.22 million

CoD 4 360: 7.67 million

CoD 4 PS3: 4.48 million

Total CoD 4: 12.15 million

The only region where NSMB isn't significantly ahead is in americas, but it's still outselling both versions combined on a weekly basis and should pass them eventually.

If only the americas are considered CoD 6 will probably outsell NSMB wii, but it's still a long ways away to reaching #1.

what he should of said was the best selling game of all time that wasn't bundled with (almost) every single Wii.

and lmao at the haters, i know its not going to be the best selling game of all time, but Infinity Ward is going to make a legendary FPS so give them credit.

Yes, it "could" be the best selling title but highly unlikely.  However, it's going to be a great FPS and have an AWESOME multiplayer!!
