Even if that's true, it won't do Slim owners any good. PS3 games are coded to work off the current system architecture. Similar to how the new PSP models have more RAM than the original PSP-1000 but games are still coded for the original specs.

Yeah, when anything hardware related is released or announced I usually take a week vacation of sorts. It usually takes about 7 days or so until we actually start talking about games again (you know, the games? ).

So yeah, we've got a couple of days to go. Can't wait for New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Left 4 Dead 2, and Uncharted 2.

Oh, and what functionality does the 80GB have that the slim does not? I know the 60GBs had more, and are the best, but the latest models have the same functionality
