Forums - Nintendo - Little King's Story being promoted with Burger King in JP

It re-entered the apanese market in 2007 according to wikipedia. So it might not be very established. It's still good news though.

They should've promoted Fat Princess! Because their......food makes you......fat.......and......

I'll leave now.

Should have used McDonald's. I don't remember seeing too many Burger Kings around Tokyo (for example). McDonald's can be found just about anywhere.

360 Games Now Playing   360 Games unopened:  Resonance of Fate  Last 360 Game I Beat: Resident Evil 5

DS Games Now Playing: Dragon Quest VI  DS Games unopened Knights in the Nightmare, Etrian Odyssey III, Okamiden, Dragon Quest IX Last DS Game I beat: Radiant Historia

Wii Games Now Playing  Super Mario Galaxy 2, Arc Rise Fantasia  Wii  Games unopened  Little King's Story, Sonic Colors, Silent Hill Shattered Memories Last Wii Game I beat: Sin & Punishment 2

There were 17 burgerkings in japan in 2007, That figure has probably risen somewhat since then but it still is going to be many.

Marvelous seem to think that because the game was a hit with critics, marketing was the problem, and it needs to be stepped up.

They're wrong, critics are not the average customer, and the problem lies in some aspects of the game's design. Accessibility, the game's slow start, unintuitive controls (when it could easily have been made more intuitive), among other things.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

I'm sure they would have tried for McDonald's, Starbucks, and every other big franchise, but they're too small a fry (geddit?!) for anyone but a small chain to care about.
