Don't forget the Hart Foundation. The Undertaker was part of The Twin Towers when he first came to WWF as well. |
Oh yeah, i'm sure a bunch of them could be named. Usually the guys who were main eventers were either on a tag team... as mentioned. Pushed as main eventers right away... or the third option.
Were middle card wrestlers from another promotion and were bumped up. But with the WWE destroying WCW they're kinda their own worst enemy in this department as bringing guys from TNA isn't quite the same.
^ yeah they seem to try to make it a point to job people out when they jump from TNA to WWE, case and point Gail Kim, Marcus Corvon, Chris Harris, Lo-Ki aka Senshi, and to some extant Christian. I can't wait to see internet favorite (and overrated) Bryan Danielson who just jumped from ROH be renamed Skippy Mcgee and have a stuttering gimmick.
did anyone see Hmada's debut on Impact, it was awesome:
Well, with Jeff Hardy gone and Edge not likely to return until Wrestlemania or so, its time for WWE to make some huge profitable stars. I think wrestlers who should start getting a push is Shelton Benjamin, John Morrison, The hart dynasty should start going after the tag team titles, and they really need to make the divas storylines more interesting.

Benjamin isn't really going anywhere higher on the card without either a crapload of acting lessons and/or a good mouthpiece. He did beat Triple H three times in a row (with at least one clean pinfall IIRC) at one point, and that got him nowhere. While you can (and probably should) pin some of the blame on Triple H, it leaves something to be said about Benjamin as well.
Agreed on Morrison and the Harts, as long as DH Smith drops his steroid habit (he's already been caught once IIRC). And since they've actually managed to use CM Punk well, I have hope that they won't completely waste Danielson either.
Oh, and have the Diva "storylines" been interesting since Trish left? Hell, have they even had storylines?

Yeah, again and again. Besides X-division (occasionally at least), that's probably the one thing where TNA has consistently outdone WWE.
IMO WWE would get so much more out of their divas if they treated them as actual performers instead of just walking boob racks.

The women's division was actually good at some point. During the attitude era, there were two divas who held the intercontinental title. There was also a time when they would put them in TLC matches or steel cage matches for the title. They once put Lita and Trish in a TLC match fot the women's title and it was a great match. Storylines for women weren't just about bra and panties matches but most of them had good storylines and most of the women during that time had amazing mic skills and in ring talent.

^ problem is that from 2002-2008 Divas were hired because of being former bikini models, and were never really trained. After that, they were all tossed into pillow fights and other crap. Even in this PG era, they do bad stuff like tossing all of the divas into a battle royale at wrestlemania and have Santino win the belt. it's almost luike they want the Divas to be a comedy act sometimes.
In order to salvage the division they need to lose some dead weight like the Bella Twins, and get some agents to take the division seriously.
Here's the problem:
