Mr. Anderson won the TNA title at the PPV on Sunday

Its about time that asshole won the TNA Championship. He also should of won the WWE Championship when he won Money in the Bank at WrestleMania 23,but, I'm not going to rant about that.

Well he WAS going to win the WWE Championship.  That's what they were grooming him for.  In fact, the week before he was gone, he was the winner of the RAW main event!!  I don't know exactly why he quit/got fired but him winning the WWE strap was pretty much a given.

Randy Orton hated him and whined about him "hurting Randy" to Vince so he got released.

And I mean really, the whole thing was creatives (read vince) fault for putting them in those jerseys in the firstplace.  Ever feel a Baskeball jersey before?  They're made slippery on purpose.

Here is the thing, his first push MITB was screwed up because he got injured, his second push was screwed up because he was caught doing drugs, and finally he got released because of Randy.

Around the Network

I was watching RAW last night and fell to sleep, I think that's the first time I fell to sleep watching wrestling. Anyways, I did watch what I missed from last night's RAW. Nexus has a new member, his name is Mason Ryan he interfered in the Cena/Punk match and he did a nice rock bottom like move on Cena. When I first saw him I thought it was Batista. Alberto Del Rio made another appearance on RAW, I hope he wins the Royal Rumble. The Royal Rumble looks like its going to be awesome this year, I'm not sure if I should get it though.

"Hitman Hart: Wrestling With Shadows" is available on Netflix instant streaming.  Hart is my favorite wrestler of all time and it was the death of his brother Owen that got me back into watching wrestling (Stopped watching during Diesel's reign and didn't come back until Owen died.).  Anyway, somehow or another, I never saw this documentary until yesterday.

I suggest that anybody who cares about wrestling, the Attitude Era, or good documentaries watch it immediately!  And after watching it, I sorta appreciate the PG version of the WWE--shocking, I know.

Great movie, I've come close to re-purchasing it from Canada because it comes with a bonus Owen Hart DVD Documentary.  Have you seen "Beyond the Mat"?

Yeah but it's been a really long time.  I vaguely remember the details but that doc was what started my transition from "mark" to "smark".  I think I'll look for it, again.

Thats one of the reasons why I want the Royal Rumble, but, the cost is holding me back. It makes sense to make it a 40-man RR, WWE signed a lot of wrestlers last year including the Nexus "rookies", Alex Riley, Daniel Bryan, my personal favorite Alberto Del Rio, and recently this Monday we saw Mason Ryan make his WWE debut by joining Nexus. This RR looks like its going to be awesome.

Bret Hart: Wrestling With Shadows is the single greatest wrestling movie that I've ever seen.  After watching this, there's no way possible that Bret Hart could not be one of your all time favorite wrestlers.  Bret's in ring career was legendary and this movie shows what a class act he is outside of it.  Oh, and he kicks the crap out of Vince McMahon.  Awesome!!!
