"so we have these QTEs"

Actually, you got it quite wrong. I suggest you re-read and try again...

Thats exactly what he says.

It is.  He's saying its not as basic as Dragon's Lair (which I really don't remember too many saying it was), but he admits the action sequences are QTE's.  There's no way around that, folks.  It is what it is.

I understand him completely. The way some people talks about this game.. I meam.. damn. It's rediculous.

I know he wont read it but i think heavy rain looks to be pretty awesome.

Check out my game about moles ^

I loved the trailer. Was'nt even interested till this.

Ynwa.

yeah i remember when David Cage came on VGchartz and saw CGI's Sig

Okay David Cage, it's not Dragon Lair but it's still a QTE-game.

The difference to old QTE-games is that instead of 2 choices - sucess or failure - this QTE game has 4 choices for every situation, each of which branches into different outcomes.

Which would make them a bit different from "QTEs". He has specified this before.

@ Torillian: Thank you.

No, it would make them more intricate QTEs. I have actually become a bit interested in the game.

Regardless, the kind of QTEs that some people seem so iffy over are almost non-existent here.

That is his point. He doesnt want people to think this is a QTE like GoW or Ninja Blade ect..

I actually think of this as a new way of doing an old school point and click adventure. Not a bad thing either.

So basically instead of hit X then X then O or you die, it is Hit X or O  and see what happens next then hit .... Its more like point and click than QTE that way

Actually he says

We don't make Dragon's Lair! This is not Dragon's Lair - do you think I'm crazy? I'm not stupid. Do you think I develop on PlayStation 3 to do Dragon's Lair again? It would be absurd. Of course it's not.

"So we work on this thing, it's fully controllable, you do what you want. When there is an action sequence, yes we integrate this QTE sequences.

So, it's actually completely different from what you're implying.
