Why did it take the guy so long to make the slim stand? haha lo. Anyways, I don't think anyone should have their slim standing to prevent damages. Unless there is a wall or something supporting the slim, I don't think it should be standing up. I think every console should be laid properly on the ground in your entertainment center.

i have my PS3 standing almost all the time cause my floor makes the fans heat alot so..

probably would be better if the HD was on the other side.

It looks pretty stable with out the stand to me. He wobbles it but it still stays up.
My PS Phat is good enough for me, I love how it stands up.
