As most of you know, I prefer the Xbox360 and I am glad that Sony lost this gen. I mean, they can finish 2nd and still lose. They lost billions of Dollar and they won't sell half the amount the PS2 sold. 3 years ago, everybody, I repeat, EVERYBODY thought the PS3 would rape the competition. Now, things have changed.

But I am not scared at all. I know my system of choice will see awesome support in 2009 and 2010 all the way. I have not enough time to play all the great games coming out next year. Right now, I think I can play one great title each month. Here are the games I will purchase (in no particular order):

  1. Alan Wake
  2. Splinter Cell Conviction
  3. Final Fantasy XIII
  4. Lost Planet 2
  5. Call of Duty 7
  6. Halo Reach
  7. Crackdown 2
  8. Fable III
  9. Castlevania
  10. Max Payne 3
  11. Mafia II
  12. And well... Natal.

So, I am very happy with the situation like it is today. We just have to wait and see how MS responds, but I am sure, they WILL respond in some way.

And let's be serious right here: NOBODY, except the fanboys, cares who might end up selling 5 million consoles more or less than its direct competitor. As a developer with a $20,000,000.00 game to be released, you will NOT ignore one of the HD twins, and just focus on the other one. There is no reason to do so. You can't ignore a 40 million userbase, just for fun...

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

You're happy that a company lost billions of dollars? O.o I hope the company I'll work for isn't hated by you.
