I think its best to wait a little bit after the slim comes out. I never buy new electronics the first time they come out. Thats why I waited a year and a half to buy the Ps3, well that and it was expensive. I think people should wait until the holiday season to buy the slim. If you have a phat ps3 already, don't trade it for the slim unless your original ps3 is not working.
