Forums - Gaming - "Mediocre" games that you love.

@Words of Wisdom:

I actually still own a copy of Wurm! It had some great production values for its time, I thought...

@Garcian Smith:

The critical response for Shadow Hearts was unspectacular. I was saying that I really liked the game, not that it is mediocre.

For me it's the Bond series on Xbox, I love playing Agent Under Fire, Nightfire and Everything or Nothing. They have so much replay value in my opinion. Also, Test Drive for Xbox was great. I thought Crackdown on the 360 was awesome fun and played though it a few times, I'm not sure that it was reviewed as mediocre, but it's definitely underrated IMO.

Sacrifice got damn good reviews.

Remember - mediocre means poor reviews, not poor sales.

 Yeah, mine are more of the overlooked poor sales varity

Snow Board Kids was always a favorite of mine. Oh and Battltanx 64

Twin Caliber and Makai Kingdom for PS2, Gauntlet for N64, True Lies for Snes.

Twin Caliber is EU-only I see. That looks like something I might actually enjoy as well...

@sienster:

I strongly disliked Agent Under Fire, but the others were good.

@ClaudeLv250:

I still think Saga Frontier 2 is easily among the prettiest games released for the PSone. Give me beautiful hand-drawn 2D graphics any day...

@ChronoTriggerJM:

The first Goemon game for N64 has a Gamerankings score of 74%, so not that bad really. The second is even higher at 80%. For some reason I recall hearing less positive buzz, or maybe it was just a total lack of buzz. Anyway, both are more than worthy!

Ridge Racer 64.

Red Steel!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know why everyone hates it but I had a blast playing the game!

@RolStoppable:

Is the first Atelier Iris inferior to the second and third? I have one and two on my shelf, but have yet to find time to play them...

Okay, I was just wondering. I haven't bothered to pick up the third yet as I haven't found the time to play the first two, and figured it was more of the same. Also, SMT games seem to have reduced my appreciation for other RPGs of late...
