PS2 launched at 199 pounds in the UK I believe

PS2 was $299 at launch, so in reality 80 percent of its sales occured at $199

After the pricecut? Well if it was halfway into its life cycle that would be impressive, but you, know it wasn't.

Alot of you paranoid people who seem to only read the title..

All this was from a newspaper with no attachments to gaming what so ever. The UK based Telegraph wrote that 80% of all PS2s sold in the UK, was sold post pricecut. And my question was if anyone could tell me the total amount of PS2 sold in the UK.

I've now found it. 10.5m units sold ~ 8m PS2s were sold after the price hit 199$. Thank you. End thread.
