Forums - Gaming - what past game system do u think wasnt given its proper due ?

The DreamCast...poor thing, it came out last generation....people forget that it was the one that launched the 6th console generation....instead they think it was the PS2 who started it.

Dreamcast + Shenmue = Gaming excellence.

Dreamcast & Sega Saturn.. (although it did get respect in japan)

The Dreamcast easily.

I do not know why, but all the DC games felt so fresh and new. I have played Resident Evil games before, but for some strange reason I liked the one on the DC most.

Crazy Taxi was something else, too. The first Tony Hawk was awesome. I remember how I act like I would sleep so my mother, who starts work at 4 am and gets up 3 am, didn't notice I was playing. So I faked my sleep for an hour and kept playing after she was off to work.

I played Virtua Tennis like crazy. I had endless battles with a friend of mine. We did so well in Virtua Tennis we used the display on the memory card (How cool is this feature?) to play. We did not look on the TV, just on the controller.

Well and then there was shenmue. The game that is two of the top 5 games of all time. Shenmue II was just as epic as Shenmue I.

My parents did not want to have internet at home, so I never played online. It is nothing else but sick if you think about it. A console from 1998 allowed you to play online.

I was even more impressed when I noticed, the DC was technically able to play High Definition. A 1600x1200 resolution was technically possible.

Damn, I loved my DC, well, I still do.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Probably the 3DO. How can only a few people know about a console that's the birthplace for the Need for Speed series, has the best versions of Road Rash & Super Street Fighter II Turbo, has the only version of Samurai Shodown that has all the characters & the blood intact besides the Neo Geo version, has some really good home versions of PC games like Wing Commander III & Alone In the Dark, & among other things? If you can get past the lame FMV games, then the 3DO isn't such a bad console after all.

I LIKE REDMOON ONLINE. IT'S TEH MOST AWESOMEST MMORPG. RUNESCAPE HAS NOTHING ON IT. ;) My full Videogame collection (Well, not really that full): http://www.backloggery.com/marktheshark I'LL COOL YOUR ANGER WITH AN ICE SPIRIT BLAST!!!!111111!!!!!!111!!!!1!!! The Gamecube.

I never understood why it didn't sell....it had by far the best library last gen.

Well said buddy!

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

The Dreamcast for sure

“When I was 5 years old, my mom always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down “happy.” They told me I didn’t understand the assignment and I told them they didn’t understand life." - author unknown
