Myomoto comes out with new games every generation, he came out with Pikmin last generation. What happens at E3 when new Mario and Zelda games are not shown? The first question is always what is the status on the next Mario and Zelda games. Nintendo and Myomoto know that once we have beaten a Mario or Zelda game a few times we are ready for the next game in the series. If Myomoto spent all of his time making new ips we would not get the quality and consistency that we get from his gems. The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker was an amazing game, but people bitched and moaned about changing the graphical style of the game. When this happens Myomoto can not take to many risks with his games. This generations I will take Mario Galaxy over anything on my ps3 any day of the week!!

much like Call of duty / Star Wars / Ratchet and clank /  (milked out game here)  don't you think?

see ? you said it yourself, he just goes to where the money is. he deosn't risk.

everyone should really stop praising him for releasing a game on a popular console and milking the crap out of it decades later.

Not only does this list fail it pretty much ignore PC developement as part of the 'gaming industry'. None of the big name pioneer for the PC are even mentioned as an afternote. No John Carmacl, Gabe Newell, Will Wright, Richard Garriott or Rob Pardo... theres are dozens and dozens of leading industry figures that have influence the course of gaming history much more than those listed.

I completely disagree with this list.

 

Where is John Carmack, Sid Meier, Gabe Newell, and Will Wright? These men highly deserve to be put on the list before 80% of the people of the list.

the order of the ppl is completely wrong, miyamoto should be #1 always. also some of the ppl on the list dont deserve to be their, carmack,will wright,kojima, and the founder fathers of rare should be on the list too. bad list

i am not bias, like i said i hate these top 10s or w.e they are all wrong, cause everyone doesn't always think the same.
