Myomoto comes out with new games every generation, he came out with Pikmin last generation. What happens at E3 when new Mario and Zelda games are not shown? The first question is always what is the status on the next Mario and Zelda games. Nintendo and Myomoto know that once we have beaten a Mario or Zelda game a few times we are ready for the next game in the series. If Myomoto spent all of his time making new ips we would not get the quality and consistency that we get from his gems. The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker was an amazing game, but people bitched and moaned about changing the graphical style of the game. When this happens Myomoto can not take to many risks with his games. This generations I will take Mario Galaxy over anything on my ps3 any day of the week!! |
