Because 95% of the IPs are not even close to being as huge as Mario, Zelda etc.

Because the IPs arent, for the most part, timeless classics.

And because reinventing old but interesting IPs is not what the majority of the 'HARCORez' fanbase wants. Shooters sell well, they want shooters, they get shooters.

Well maybe because Sony is original doesn't want to use there franchises over and over again. I mean who would want to use there franchises over it would get repetative. Fps games the most popular genres this gen.

Because they would trade that list for the Zelda I.P. It simply isn't good enough, they make a lot of games, they make very few great games however. With the exception of something like Gran Turismo, they have very little 5M+ selling material there.
