I agree with the fact that a lot of development has been spent on the game for the PS3, too much just to throw it all away. Then again, stranger things have happened so all we can do is wait and see. It will be huge for Nintendo if it was a wii exclusive though. Not because its a instant million seller, more for the fact that its a popular 3rd party game that they have taken exclusivity from another console. If this is true then it will have been a long time that a publisher has cancelled a game on a Sony console to place it on a Nintendo console.

 It's really big. I know Famitsu most wanted lists are not representative for sales, but it's on number 5 in the August most wanted, so you can say that for Japan Sony lost it's "next-best -thing" (after the MEGA-4 FF, MGS, RE and GT):

Wow... it does sound exclusive. I'm sort of in shock...

Now on that top 5 list, there are only 2 exclusive PS3 titles. One of which is FF, which has lots of spin-offs including some Wii variety ones.

MGS4 - last bastion for the PS3?

 Indeed; If I were Microsoft (or Bill Gates) I'd pay some serious money to nab MGS4.  And does anyone else feel that Nintendo just stole both Microsoft's (Halo 3) and Sony's (with the amazing 2008 lineup) thunder? I mean, everyone was like "hey Wii has a good lineup with SMG, SSBB, MP3,etc in 2007 but after that what else?". Nintendo seems even stronger in 2008 now... Scary stuff.

"Only" might be a bit too much, it's still the best platform on this list, for now.
But if Capcom changes it's 3rd biggest title (in Japan) from PS3 to Wii that's a HUGE step and will certainly have concequences in the near future, not only from Capcom. This shows that Capcom takes Wii really serious, so we might expect other big titles (Mega Man...).
Capcom is one of the best (if not the best) 3rd Party developer, so if they support Wii with A+ titles other developers will change too.

capcom has been spreading the love to everyone, kind of surprised to see the game go exclusive
