I respectfully disagree XD.  IMO, it has 150% of the replay value of LBPs and I found LBP to get boring faster (imo anyways).

I personally wouldn't give LBP more than a 8.5 and yes I own the game. Great replay value - weak platformer.

Also I would have put Uncharted 2 in my sig, but it's unfortunately too long. But I will kick DiRT 2 out of it, if Sony or Polyphony Digital gives a concrete 2009 release date for GT5.

No other game has made me laugh out loud so hard and sincerely, with friends or with strangers, for so many times to the point of being in tears and unable to play properly.

And LBP is my favorite game this gen, clocking in at #5 on my all time list, behind the 3D console Zeldasm and just ahead of Okami.  In basic platforming, there are better games out there, but LBP's mix of platforming, hilarious (and cheap) deaths at the hands of friends, and insane replayability with all the crazy user levels makes it a winner in my book.  I've played this game far more than any other game released this gen (possibly ever, depending on how much I played Age of Mythology and Mario Kart 64 back in the day).  Playing with friends online just can't be beat.

Yeah Montana its very good stuff. Hard to dislike even if your into completely different things. I enjoyed Oblivion much more than Fallout 3. Shame there are no trophies pal.

Talk about boring Grand theft Auto games can get boring driving around selling drugs and more driving. I do that in real life

It's good, but I think that the campaign is the best part of the game. I would give it a 9/10. The jumping and platforming in general is leagues behind Galaxy, and while the online and user generated content...and charm...go a long way to make up for that, I still think that if LBP is one of the greatest games ever, than Mario Galaxy(or64) should be THE greatest game ever to the person stating that. They are better games.

Also, I'm not a "huge" platformer, but of course, I do enjoy the best games in that genre, like Braid, Galaxy, LBP, and even Splosion Man.

It seems like most people just beat LBP once, and put it down. That might make it the greatest rental ever, but it just doesn't have the longevity of a game like Mario Brothers, imo. For some reason, I love it while I play it, I'm glad when I beat it, and afterwards, it felt like I had been forced to do so.

I find that people give immensely different reviews WHILE they are playing the game, than they do AFTER they've beaten it(1st or 2nd time).

LBP is currently one of my favorite PS3 games, me and my cousins have so much fun playing this game.
