Forums - Sony - I have a Personal Prediction of the development of MGS:Rising

I was just thinking about it and I have a feeling that Kojima is going to be taking a more active role in the Rising's production then most people think. Right now we all know that Kojima has taken a back seat to this project as right now he has been designated as the Producer/Executive Producer while he is directing his main focus  MGS: PW. However, I can't accept the idea/notion that Kojima won't be taking a more hand's on role in the development of Rising.

My personal prediction and hope is that Kojima once finished with MGS:PW and Castlevania that he move on and take a more director like role in the development of Rising.

Well what do you think? Will Kojima take a more active role in Rising then he initially let on? My Guess YES GOD YES

I certainly hope so...for some reason, the idea of "lightning bolt action" as opposed to "tactical espionage action" sounds horrible for me and I hope Kojima is there to save this game and atleast make it a good hack and slash game.

I hope a focuses on PW and Castlevania until those games are finished. Then he can do what ever.

No....Kojima really wants to step away from MGS..i mean MGS PSP was suppose to be done without him be he felt the story was alittle to tough for ghe team to convey to us in a easy to understand way...Kojima wants new projects..let him have it

I would love to see what he does with Castlevania though, that series will be escalated to new heights with his presence!

I really hope though that Konami make MGS: PW for the PS3 as well (either on the MGS4 engine or MGSR engine) but I guess that's wishful thinking. :(

Well, yes after he finishes his other projects I see that happening. I don't think there will be much a time gap though. Isn't Rising coming out in 2010?

Actually all evidence support a 2011 release date as its the only project he's working on with TBA still attached to the release date while Peace Walker and Castlevania both have 2010-dates attached.
