SE gets million of requests to remake FFVII and they don't do it, so why are they gonna remake FFIX and they don't even want to remake their most succesful FF.

no one wanted a remake of FF1 /2 /3/4 but they did it.

im expecting they're going to remake 5.6.7.8 next

That is true with the exception of 4. That game is amazing and I would buy a remake every generation(lol Square knows how to steal my money).

remake will be great, but if that's too much to ask.....

i will be perfectly happy to purchase the PSN version and play it on my PSP Go
and i fully believe that it will happen some time in 2010-2011 (after FFVIII of course) :)

Final Fantasy IX truly is an unappreciated masterpiece and I would enjoy a remake very much. Zidane FTW!

EDIT: Holy crap. This has got me listening to my OST.

Let's add "Mistaken Love", "Jester's of the Moon",  "The Memories Erased in the Storm", "Far Away in the Twilight", "Limited Time", "Lindbulm's Theme", "Song of Memories" (instrumental Memories of Life), "Uleke de Chocobo" (it's the chocobo theme with a ukele!), "Kuja's Theme" (and all 4 variations of it throughout the game. So epic!).

I honestly could go on. There is a reason why Uematsu said FFIX is the best game he ever worked on.

And terra, black mage village, bran ball, gulucs vulcano ect ect

That is my favorite final fantasy I would buy a ps3 for that and RE 5.

I would rather just have remakes of 5 and 6, haven't played those. I'm enjoying 7 so far from PSN. I'll play 8 when I get the chance, hopefully it'll be put up on PSN aswel. Got bored of 9, but if 8 comes then most people will expect nine to also make it's way to PSN.

Uematsu's finest work indeed.

Sorry but I really don't understand people disliking IX unless they are just the "ZOMG KIDDY" people. The music, characters, and style were brilliant. It's exactly what a 3D FF game should have been in the first place... not FFVII.
