Forums - Nintendo - OBJECTION! I finally get my hands on Pheonix Wright Ace Attorney.

I salute you sir.

Ignore Rainbird. It's an awesome series with a great story and less linearity would ruin it. Think point and click adventures. They are linear because they have to be to have the kind of puzzle solving they have.

Oh, how different we all are

I haven't finished the game yet (I'm quite busy atm), but I'll still enjoy the rest of the game, no matter what issues it has.

I bought one of those games (trials and tribulations?), did not like it at all and sold it very shortly. Don't be too surprised if you end up disappointed.

It's a continuous story. Starting with Trials and Tribulations would be like reading Lord of the Rings and starting with Return of the King.

I personally didn't like it much, but I'm going it give it another chance in a few weeks...

Former something....

Which is what I actually did and I still managed to enjoy return of the king. Well, I saw the movie. :)

my gf started with appolo and had no problems (though apparently one story did a bit confuse her).

I'm at PW 3 =)

Apollo Justice is the start of a new trilogy, so you can kinda do that. That's more like starting Star Wars with A New Hope (which 90% of people did).

I was wondering when Naz would come in here. I knew you'd be giving me a hardy congratulations. Oh yeah, and since you are such a fan of the series, could you tell me what order they go in since they aren't numbered. It will save me some trouble later on when I buy the next one.

I like point and click adventure games, and I knew that's what I was getting when I bought it. So I'm not concerned in that I'm not going to like it for what it is. I like the genre, and the twists it has on the genre sound very interesting. So I am suspecting that it will be good times. I just have a insy weensy bit of work left to do on the computer and then I'm going to fire this bad boy up.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

It goes like this:

1. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

2. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Justice For All

3. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations

4. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney

And congrats on getting yourself into one of the best series' in gaming!

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
