Forums - Sales - Another boom of sales once Halo 3 reachs 10 million?

Well, once it reachs 10 million MS probably will make ad about that, and more ads means more people getting interested. So, should we expect a good jump in sales once it officially reachs the 10 million mark?

I don't know. I think it will be around 11 million at the end of it's run.

I doubt reaching the 10 million mark will cause an increase in sales. We might see an increase before Reach comes out.

No, but ODST and Reach will spark small bumps to H3.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

I see it giving Halo: Reach giving it a higher launch than Halo 3.

Nope.

Don´t think so, but it wiil reach 11 million at least.

An ad celebrating 10 million mark? Never saw no one making that.

I doubt MS will make an ad at 10 million, to be honest. Even if they do, I don't expect enough extra sales that it could really be called "another boom"; more like a blip.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

The cost of the ad wouldn't be enough to warrant the additional sales.
