Wow!  Thanks!  I really appreciate it!

I'm not blushing

OT: I know the OP is asking for individuals, but I really think that every one of the critics on VGC, mostly because this isn't our job, and we don't have an ulterior motive (say, getting more hits or 'just getting it done') - we only do it because we're passionate about gaming and we really just want to do an honest job and let people know our views on the game.

Outside of VGC, I'd say the only one I agree with on a fairly consistent basis is Matt Cassamassina, though Bozon and (Smokin' Hot) Chobot are pretty reliable, too.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Matt Cassamasina. He's truthful. Though it always got to me why Mario Galaxy got a 9.7 while Mario 64 got a 9.8 and he says Galaxy is better. Oh well.

1. Tor FTW!

2. Really?  After he changed a game's score due to pressure from advertisers?

Jeff didn't change the score. He gave it a 6.5. GameSpot then fired him because of pressure from advertisers, and he happily left and made his own website, Giant Bomb. Brad Shoemaker joined him. Pretty much the only two good reviewers GameSpot ever had. And Jason Ocampo, who works for IGN now.

None of them matter to me.

Hmm... seems I slightly misconstrued what went on - the review was edited (significantly), but it's unclear if it was by him or another GS member.

Anyway, your opinion is your opinion, not trying to make a whole big deal out of it

I don't really have a favorite reviewer...

I like most of the VGC reviews, though.
