A new safari zone, though? Gold and Silver had a national park, and not a safari zone, but it's the same thing, isn't it?

I read this on Serebii. I think I might just be excited for this now.

Also Kanto is confirmed to return. And National Park = Bug catching while Safari Zone = Jungle Pokemon catching.

This is sounding more and more AWESOME the more I know about it.

I'm wondering what may become of the Safari Zone in Fuchsia City It wasn't in the original Gold/Silver versions, but it may be moved to the Johto Region, it could be closed like it originally was, or there is a Safari Zone in both Johto and Kanto.

Maybe they moved from Fuchsia to Cianwood.
