Forums - Website Topics - Random suggestion regarding VGChartz reviews layout

For a few days, the Reviews section on the home page had five reviews.... all of which were some Ice Age game. They took up all 5 places on the review section because the game was on 5 platforms, despite it being actually only 1 review. My suggestion is that if there is only one review, and that one review is stretched across all platforms, that it should only take up one slot on 'reviews' in the home page. It pushed what was actually the second most recently reviewed game right off the front page, and to be honest looked kinda silly.

I agree

& if one clicks on the review, one should be linked to the review page of the console that the said person who clicks on the review owns

if a person who isn't a vg chartz member clicks he should be linked to a page for the console that has the most "hits"

or

if its a multiplat game, just make a page saying the review is for PS3 & xbox 360

True. I haven't really thought about it but this could be a good idea.

@majin

thank you

We try to time them apart, so they're at least on the front page for a day or so.

There could be significant differences between versions, and this would do horrors for the console pages.

A better idea would just be to show MORE recent reviews on the front page. 10, perhaps.
